Meet our incredible story tellers!

Group of four people standing inside a cave or rock formation. The woman on the left is wearing a brown dress with puffed sleeves and a floral crown. The man next to her has dreadlocks and is wearing a dark jacket with a cape. The man in the middle has short curly hair and is wearing a brown vest over a patterned shirt. The man on the right is bald with a beard and mustache, wearing a dark shirt with a necklace. There is a crest and a banner with the motto 'Service We Progress' on the cave wall behind them. Colored lights illuminate the scene.

Our Local Game Masters

Gabrielle Bennett

A passionate writer, researcher, and certified nerd, Gabrielle is the Campaign Master of Natural 20 Tours.

She first became obsessed with all things D&D and TTRPGs in 2020 (along with so many of us) while writing her dissertation on elements of fictional storytelling – lots on The Witcher – and hasn’t stopped learning since.

Then, one day, after lamenting that the bottomless pit of her love of D&D and storytelling was still not filled, she and her partner started this company and found some incredible people to make games with!

Campaign Master & Founder of Natural 20 Tours

Dylan Smith

Dylan is a lifelong nerd with too many hobbies to keep track of, but at his heart, he's obsessed with a good story, no matter the format.

As DM for Hearthfire Tales, Dylan blends big overarching plot lines with deeply personal stakes, seeking to creatively use game mechanics to aid the narrative of whatever game he's playing. His mantra is: "Rules control the fun, but the rule of cool is the most powerful of all!"

You can catch him as part of Hearthfire Media, running D&D live shows and events around Ireland, and producing Actual Plays of all formats!

Game Master

Jim Tuohy

Jim Tuohy is a lifelong nerd, storyteller, and enthusiastic collector of hobbies that involve rolling dice or swinging swords. With more than a decade of experience playing and running tabletop RPGs, Jim has spent years crafting adventures that bring players together through memorable characters, daring heroics, and plenty of laughs along the way.

When he's not at the gaming table, Jim works with Cubicle 7 Games and creates TTRPG and LARP content for Hearthfire Media, helping to grow and celebrate the hobby he loves. As both a seasoned player and experienced DM, he believes the best games are collaborative stories where everyone gets a chance to shine.

At Jim's table, expect fast-paced action, engaging roleplay, dramatic twists, unexpected comedy, and the occasional moment of absolute chaos. Whether you're a veteran adventurer or picking up your first set of dice, he'll tailor the experience to the players in front of him and make sure everyone leaves with a story worth telling.

Game Master

Apollo Pierce

An Irish voice actor and creator, Apollo runs games for everyone from newbies to experienced players with a love of roleplay-focused games and layered encounters.

With a love of mythology and folklore, he strives to create stories that make people feel empowered to take on the world.

His favourite genres are high/urban fantasy, cyberpunk and horror, let the chaos begin!

Game Master

Dread – aka, Caitlin McCabe

She’s the Dreaded DM, also known as Dread, also known as Caitlin (@the.dreaded.dm). She’ll answer to any title, especially if it's flattering! She’s an Irish-Caribbean TTRPG performer and GM.

Presently based in Dublin, Ireland, she started playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e during the COVID pandemic. Finding her first game on Roll20, she very quickly became enamoured with the hobby but knew that being a player wasn’t enough. In late 2020, I started DMing her first campaign with her family and I haven’t looked back.

In the years since, she’s run games for conventions and events across Ireland and online for audiences the world over. She’s had adventures beyond imagination and made some incredible friends along the way… Just from rolling some math rocks.

Game Master

Daithí Carroll

Daithí (He/They) is a Dungeon Master and player with over 10 years of experience and fluency in multiple TTRPG systems including D&D 5e, Cain, Heart the City Beneath, and Mythic Bastionland.

Daithí’s DM approach is one of 50-50 roleplay to gameplay, so don’t be afraid to throw your most optimised character or your most sob-inducing backstory their way as they live for both!

He has been streaming and creating content with D8 Dungeon for 4 years and can be seen as Deceit in Random DMs seasons 1 and 2 and as Aster Pentas on award-winning podcast Romancing the Dungeon.

Game Master

Declan Chen

Declan Chen is an Irish Dungeon Master, award-winning storyteller, and creator of D8Dungeon.

His work has been recognised with a CRIT Award for Best Script (Romancing the Dungeon) and a Bronze Irish Podcast Award for Best Fiction (Romancing the Dungeon), celebrating his passion for crafting immersive, character-driven narratives. Known for weaving player backstories into rich, cinematic worlds, Declan creates adventures where every choice has weight, every character has a story worth telling, and every session leaves a lasting impression.

Whether behind the screen with friends, on a podcast/stream, or entertaining a live audience, his focus remains the same: building unforgettable experiences through collaborative storytelling.

Game Master & Story Crafter

Donal McClean

Donal McClean (They/Them) is many things to many people but they will always be a nerd with a particular obsession for LARPing and TTRPGs.

Currently they make their rent as a storyteller within Dublin city focusing on the folklore and mythology of Ireland, but where they really want to be is with you at a table fighting/befriending goblins or slaying/seducing dragons!

So if you like your games to have equal parts laughter, horror, suspense and drama then grab your dice and join them in crafting a story you tell together and will remember forever.

Game Master & Lore Keeper

Alexandria McCauley

She runs and writes games for ttrpg venues across London, at conventions, and for private groups, creating welcoming, inclusive tables where players of all experience levels can dive into unforgettable adventures.

Alex's GM style is pure chaos and shenanigans. She thrives at tables full of creative, risk-taking players who aren't afraid to throw the plan out the window. Drawing on her acting background, she crafts immersive stories where character goals, relationships, and roleplay take centre stage. Although, she also loves throwing in a combat that will have you questioning every decision you've made.

Expect memorable moments, epic stories, and a whole lot of chaotic fun.

Game Master

Justin Jordan

Justin Jordan, better known online as Freddiesroommate, is a popular TTRPG creator and Game Master who has been rolling dice since 2014. A lifelong fan of epic fantasy, high-stakes adventures, and unforgettable storytelling, Justin first learned to play Dungeons & Dragons in college with his best friends.

Today, he travels the world sharing his passion for tabletop roleplaying games with audiences everywhere. He is also the GM of POWER Rangers Invasion, a sentai-inspired actual play series packed with action, teamwork, and larger-than-life heroes.

Game Master

Maddy Penny

Maddy is an Australian professional Dungeon Master, TTRPG writer, and content creator with a passion for telling unforgettable stories. She has been running games professionally on StartPlaying for over two years, hosting 6 to 7 games every week for players from all over the world.

Whether you're rolling your very first set of dice or you've been adventuring for decades, Maddy loves creating games where every player feels welcome, supported, and excited to tell their character's story. She's quick to adapt to unexpected player choices, thrives on collaborative storytelling, and enjoys challenging her groups with meaningful roleplay, memorable NPCs, and tactical combats that reward clever thinking, creativity, and teamwork.

Above all else, Maddy believes that the best games are built on trust, laughter, and shared storytelling. Player joy, passion, and safety are at the heart of everything she does, and she strives to care more about your character than even you do. If you love emotional moments, epic victories, impossible choices, and leaving the table with stories you'll still be talking about weeks later, she'd love to welcome you to one of her games.

Game Master

Shaun Leonard

Shaun is originally from Galway, Ireland, where he inherited a love of TTRPGs from his older brothers, and a love of storytelling from poetry, the Power Rangers, and Thursday Night Smackdown. As an actor, improviser, and dungeon master, he believes the key to a good session is collaborative storytelling.

As a GM he’s run sponsored live shows for Darrington Press, and performed in actual plays at San Diego Comic Con, Gen Con, and WonderCon. Shaun uses humor to lure players into emotional investment, and then breaks their hearts with surprising twists of plot and character. Having worked as an editor for Critical Role, he hopes to provide a spotlight for every character to feel like the hero of the story. He uses his game design experience to create layered combats, often with multiple objectives and ticking clocks. When it comes to exploring magical worlds, Shaun tries to impart a sense of wonder in the adventurers at his table.

You can find Shaun talking about games on Instagram, running live shows and panels at conventions around America, or in a random Discord chat teaching players how to play their first RPG.

Game Master

Sam Lopez

Sam Lopez, also known as “DungeonSamster”, is TTRPG content creator and actual play game master specializing in the storytelling side of rule-of-cool. He has been playing and running tabletop roleplaying games for just over a decade & values player-agency over a strict adherence to rules when it comes to session & story structure.

Sam seeks to create scenarios wherein characters can support each other’s emotional developments and uncover deep rooted mysteries, but loves a crunchy combat encounter as much as anyone who got their start in TTRPGs via D&D.

He has run games online with both “The Bad Ideas” and “Tabletop Misfits” and is passionate about bringing a similar style of collaborative-play found in those productions to Natural 20 Tours tables.

Game Master

Z Vergun

A consummate yarn spinner and yes-and-er, Z Vergun (@gatewaygayz) is a professional writer, storyteller, and Game/Dungeon Master in Los Angeles. Their expertise spans over ten years of experience, both in the entertainment industry and running tabletop roleplaying games. Their slice-of-life modern fantasy podcast, "What Happened in the Malachite Wastes," was nominated for CRIT Awards for Best Upcoming Podcast (2025) and Best Dungeon Master (2026) after only ten episodes. They have been called a “delight to work with” and voted “most likely” to both punch a police horse and convince everyone to help them move for free.

A roleplay-heavy, puzzle-minded Dungeon Master, Z believes that collaborative storytelling can be one of the best ways we learn, grow, and develop into stronger communities, and help us discover things about ourselves we may never have known. Whether you are a long-time player or have never played a TTRPG before, Z will help make this trip the adventure of a lifetime!

Game Master

Charli Kipreos-Clarke

Charli (better known as @dndcharli) is a scientist turned TTRPG content creator who spends an unreasonable amount of her free time studying psychology and figuring out how it applies to D&D. She runs the series "Your Brain on D&D," which is essentially what happens when you let a neurodivergent ex-theatre-kid with a decade of D&D experience (both playing and GMing) loose on academic journals.

Her DMing style favours character-driven storytelling in a way that puts the players in control and creates emotionally devastating moments interspersed with pure chaos (there are no “wrong choices” - only ones that shape your story). She builds worlds designed to make you care about the NPCs, weaves player backstories into the narrative, and has a particular love of morally complicated villains you can't help but sympathise with. She’s also been known to cry at almost every table, which she maintains is a sign of quality DMing.

Whether you're a veteran player or have never rolled a d20 in your life, expect rich storytelling, chaotic laughter, and at least one moment where the whole table goes very, very quiet.

Game Master

Hermann Ibragimow

A former software engineer turned professional Game Master, tabletop designer, and content creator known as Orbytale, Hermann is on a mission to bring as many people into the TTRPG hobby as possible. He runs games at local stores in Germany, at major conventions, and online, crafting welcoming, inclusive tables for players of all experience levels.

With a deeply collaborative and player-forward GM style, Hermann blends rich storytelling with engaging worldbuilding. He thrives at tables that embrace out-of-the-box thinking, expertly balancing rules with creative freedom by designing custom spells, feats, and magic items on the fly.

You can expect immersive worlds, meaningful player choices, and a welcoming space where the story truly belongs to everyone (well, everyone and the dice!).

Game Master

Emmi Fogarasi

Emmi (emmi.dnd) is a professional game master, writer and DnD artist. She has experience with shared worldbuilding across London's venues and ttrpg scene! She has a deep love for creating atmospheric and eerie settings, but is just as likely to lean into chaotic and high-energy roleplay.

As someone who has run rpgs like Ten Candles, Call of Cthulhu and the Magnus Archives RPG, she likes leaning into horror that feel personal to players, and aims to make her tables reflect that. Emmi's goal is to build a collaborative space where the story belongs to you.

Game Master

Heather Pigg

As a weaver of fate and keeper of lore, Heather is a professional Game Master, Actual Play performer, and TTRPG Content Creator known online as MidnightHaether. While she only has four years in the professional TTRPG space, don't let that fool you - she combines her B.A. in English Literature with her experience playing various TTRPGs since 2006/2007 to bring whimsy and chaos to her tables.

Roleplay is the foundation of her games and storytelling; the phrase "yes, and" shapes the world around her players, making it feel immersive through genuine player investment. Heather welcomes players from all walks of life and experience levels, and she has a soft spot for newbies - she has yet to blemish her undefeated streak of new players wanting more after sitting at her table.

You can typically find her running D&D with locals in Connecticut through Dungeons n' Drafts, local game stores, and booked for private events, along with running games for Kobold Press at larger conventions. Heather currently hosts Tabletop Gaming Center's "Tabletop Travel Agency" programming while also appearing on various TTRPG channels, such as Streaming Rainbow, Role D5, Tabletop Journeys, Winters Tales, and more to come!
