Booking Questions

  • Booking your Natural 20 adventure is simple. Register on our website for free to hold your place on tour — registration also gives you early access to pay your deposit once we open bookings. Full payment is due 12 weeks before your tour departure date. All payments are processed in Euro.

  • You can register your interest in any tour as soon as it goes live on our website — it’s free and doesn’t commit you to anything. We typically open bookings six to nine months before the tour departure date, and registered players will be the first to know. To make sure you never miss a new tour announcement, we’d encourage you to sign up to our newsletter as well.

  • Every tour requires a minimum of 12 players to run. If your table doesn’t fill, we’ll do our best to place you at another table on the same tour. If the tour itself doesn’t reach the minimum number of players, we’ll offer you a place on a future tour or a full refund — whichever you prefer.

  • Once your deposit has been paid, you have 14 days to cancel and receive a full refund. After that period, all funds paid are non-refundable. We strongly encourage all guests to review their own travel insurance cover before booking to protect against unforeseen circumstances

  • Natural 20 Tours does not offer travel insurance directly, and given that our players travel from all over the world we’re not in a position to recommend a specific provider. We strongly encourage all guests to review their own travel insurance needs and ensure they have appropriate cover in place before booking.

  • The best way to stay ahead of the adventure is to sign up to our newsletter — subscribers are always the first to hear about new tour announcements, early registration opportunities, and exclusive updates. You can also keep an eye on our website and follow us on social media to make sure you never miss a new launch.

Tour Questions

  • Natural 20 Tours currently operates in Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales. If you have a destination in mind that isn’t on our scheduled tour list, visit our Custom Tours page — we can plan an adventure almost anywhere.

  • Solo travellers and groups are equally welcome on Natural 20 tours. Whether you’re flying solo or bringing your whole party, you’ll be placed at a table with fellow adventurers and looked after from the moment you arrive. Groups may be eligible for a discount — visit our Group Bookings page to find out more.

  • Absolutely — we’ll always do our best to place couples and friends at the same table. Simply let us know when you register who you’ll be travelling with and we’ll take care of the rest. If you’re travelling as a group of four or more, head to our Group Bookings page for details on how to reserve a group space and potential discounts.

  • Natural 20 tours are generally designed for adults aged 18 and over. If you’d like to bring younger family members, please get in touch with us directly with your details and the number of children you’d be bringing. Depending on numbers, we may be able to arrange a dedicated youth table on tour.

  • Every Natural 20 tour includes a full programme of game sessions, admission to famous landmarks and attractions, and selected meals. But adventure doesn’t have to be scheduled — throughout the tour you’ll have plenty of opportunity to sidequest through the cities, towns, and locations at your own leisure. Every destination has its own stories to discover.

  • Each Natural 20 tour runs with a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 36 players, divided into tables of four to six players plus a Game Master. This keeps the experience intimate and ensures every player gets meaningful time at the table regardless of the overall group size.

  • All Natural 20 tours are based in quality 4-star hotels throughout your destination. Accommodation options include double rooms (one double bed), twin rooms (two single beds), and single rooms. Please let us know your preference when completing your post-booking survey and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

  • Breakfast is included on all Natural 20 tours, along with selected dinners depending on the tour itinerary. Meal inclusions vary from tour to tour, so we recommend checking the full list of inclusions on your chosen tour page before booking. Most dietary requirements can be accommodated — we’ll ask for this information as part of your post-booking survey.

Campaign Questions

  • Some prior experience with tabletop RPGs is helpful, but it’s absolutely not required. Our Game Masters are experienced with players of all levels — from seasoned adventurers to first-time roleplayers. To help you feel confident before you arrive, we’ll send support material to every player ahead of the tour so you can hit the ground running.

  • Our tours run using Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (D&D 5e) — the world’s most popular tabletop RPG system and a great choice for players of all experience levels. We may explore other systems for future tours, so watch this space.

  • Absolutely. Our tours are designed to welcome players of all experience levels, from first-time roleplayers to seasoned veterans. Once you’ve completed your booking and paid your deposit, we’ll send you a detailed survey covering your TTRPG experience, preferences, and general travel needs. We’ll use that information to assign you to the most suitable table and Game Master, and to make sure your time on tour is as comfortable as possible.

  • Every Natural 20 tour includes a minimum of three to four game sessions, each running approximately three hours. The exact number of sessions varies by tour, so we recommend reviewing the full itinerary on your chosen tour page for details.

  • While each table will be following the same campaign module, every Game Master will bring their own style and flavour to the sessions. There will always be interaction between tables and important narrative moments shared across the entire party throughout the campaign and tour.

  • All Natural 20 tour sessions are currently run in English. If you have a party that would prefer sessions in another language, please get in touch with us directly and we’ll do our best to find a solution.

  • Our game sessions are run by a mix of professional UK and Ireland based Game Masters and visiting international GMs. Every GM is carefully vetted to meet the standards of Natural 20 Tours, and all sessions are supported by our Campaign Director who designs the custom modules and ensures a cohesive experience across every table.   • We understand that unforeseen circumstances can happen — our Game Masters are human after all. In the unlikely event that a GM has to withdraw from a tour, we’ll work quickly to find another experienced local or international Game Master to take care of their table. We’ll communicate any changes to affected players at the earliest possible opportunity. The adventure will go on.

  • Absolutely. If you have an established party and want an adventure of a lifetime planned just for you, we can design a fully custom tour and campaign around your group. Choose your destination, your dates, and your preferred play style — and we’ll take care of the rest.
